1. Click on 'program name' links below for applicable utility to check funding availability. Read any following text for other details/programs to refer caller to. If out of funds, it may be also noted on this listing in red.

2. Read through the record for program details.

The following utilities are used in Grey County. Availability of funds may change throughout the year.

Hydro One, Enbridge Gas Inc. (including former Union Gas customers): refer caller to LEAP Program (energy assistance program for emergency financial assistance). Intake is completed by the United Way Simcoe Muskoka - to apply, call 1-855-487-5327.

• If caller has already utilized the program OR additional funds are required, also refer them to Grey County Sustainable Housing Benefit.

Wood, Oil, Propane, Wood Pellets: when funds are available, 2-1-1 completes the intake for United Way of Bruce Grey Wood, Oil and Propane Utility Assistance Program

• If program is out of funds OR caller has already utilitzed program OR additional funds are required, also refer them to Grey County Sustainable Housing Benefit.

Water and Sewer: when funds are available, 2-1-1 completes the intake for United Way of Bruce Grey Water and Sewer Utility Assistance Program.

• If program is out of funds OR caller has already utilitzed program OR additional funds are required, also refer them to Grey County Sustainable Housing Benefit.

Westario Power: When funds are available (for customers in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Wellington counties) refer to Bruce County Housing - Westario Utility Assistance Program (LEAP).

• If LEAP funds are exhausted, refer GREY COUNTY residents to Grey County Sustainable Housing Benefit. For other counties, refer to applicable Homeless Prevention Program.
