| Description (Service) | Approved in-home child care provided in a family-like setting for infants, toddlers, and children up to age 12. Children from the same family can be cared for together. Screened providers care for up to six children, occasionally providing child care in evenings, weekends and overnight Home child care providers are independent self-employed business people contracted with Huron County Community Home Child Care. Providers are required to follow approved policies and procedures and to meet the requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act. Homes are regularly inspected. |
